For Arkansas they were blaming the dead blackbirds on fireworks supposedly, but I think now that these birds and fish are turning up dead around the world from South America to Sweden to New Zealand, I think it is fair to say that something bigger is going on. Could be a biological agent or poison that was released into the atmosphere. Could be a sign from God. Who really knows?

The safest investment int the world is to follow the US government and invest in whatever they are investing in. Look how much money they made on Citigroup and their other ownership stakes. Other than that, look for some good waterfront real estate that has taken a beating in your area. You can always make money on waterfront property if you buy it for the right price. It is not a liquid investment, but you could rent out your properties and make some cash flow that way. Keep about 50% of your total worth in cash right now as the stock market has run a little ahead of itself. But don`t just hold US dollars, which are depreciating everyday. Look at the Canadian dollar, Swiss Francs and Japanese Yen for some diversification.

The world`s safest investment is kind of an oxymoron. In the new world order, investments and safe do not walk hand in hand. Sure the stock market has jumped 80% since the bottom, but most of this buying has been fictitious, with the United States Government buying the S&P futures pre-market and during the day trading session, to prop up the markets and make everything seem rosy. Why do you think they created new laws against shorting? The government knows that most money professionals can`t wait to short this pig of a market, so the Federal Reserve isn`t going to give them a chance. Meantime, Bernanke keeps interest rates at all-time lows and floods the market with liquidity and cheap money for the big banks to borrow and trade with. That is why their profits are beating expectations, because the game is rigged. It`s funny how the government is now trying to distance themselves from Goldman Sachs, considering that most of the people in the Obama administration used to work at Goldman Sachs. But with Barack Obama`s ratings in the gutter, despite a near 80% rise in the stock market since becoming president, his advisers realize that the public sees the truth and know that Obama is actually owned by Wall Street. That`s why this sudden about face, and this new attempt to pass Wall Street reform, all so that the current administration can appear to be against Goldman and be for the people. It`s such a sham. Put your money in foreign countries that are autonomous and that don`t do dealings with the U.S. government or Goldman. If you can find one, that is.

Most experts would say that gold is the safest investment in the world because some are predicting that all fiat currencies of the world (meaning those not backed by hard assets) will soon fail and collapse. With interest rates at record lows and a federal government not currently willing to support the value of the dollar by raising interest rates, gold and silver coins seem to be a very good bet for long term safety and growth. However, gold itself could be in a bubble as it has exploded higher for the past 2 years. So, perhaps the best and safest investment is to stay diversified with some blue chip stocks, some gold, some foreign currencies, some bonds, some real estate, some short ETFs. Since no one can predict the future, we don`t know if we are truly heading out of a recession or if we could fall into a deeper recession, so try not to put too many eggs in one basket.

Nobody knows for sure what the best investment for safety is in this crazy world. We are in a jobless recovery as they call it, where even though people aren`t getting employed, apparently the larger economy and business are starting to pick up in activity and sales. We`re not sure if we believe this official story about the economy, as this may just be another con job and a set up for a major, devastating crash that would ruin the financial lives of many in the world. The market has gone up too far too fast and is seemingly in another bubble. Government bonds or TIPS might be the safest bet right now for investing, as these will protect you against a serious correction in equities and inflation.
