I am 43 soon to be 44.
I walk/run 5 miles a day,
I lift 6 days a week,
I can max the current Army PT requirements most people age 20.
I have 9% body fat.
bike and roller blade.
I weigh in at 207 pounds at 5 foot 6 inches.
I cant loose any more weight.
The military both army and air force told me to bad so sad we dont want you.
I have 5 years prior army.
I was promoted three times in the first year.
But I am not good enough.
So for all you guys thinking the military is a good place to go...Dont waist your time....
Do something constructive,
get a real job,
have a real life..tell uncle sam to go )U*()&& himself.
And if you are a spiritual person..pray for the uneducated morons in the military.
With the new upper age limit for the Army you can now be eligible for service. Also, with your prior service time you subtract that number of years from your age. So if you have now turned 44 you would be 39 in the eyes of the Army for enlisting. Go for it I say and good luck!
can i help said:
I believe the oldest you can be is 37 years old plus any active time served. Example: If you served 5 years in your past, then you should be able to go back in at 42 years old. I would also try different recruiters because some who filled their quota have an attitude and those who haven't will sell you to join. That's my experience.
