I worked in the state of kansas and I just received a letter from unemployment stating that my last employer (a temporary agency)
was protesting my unemployment I collected from August 2009 to present.
This company claims misconduct on my part due to missing work because of health problems-(I always had a letter or note from my Dr`s to show proof.
I have been told if I lose this case through unemployment I will have to pay back to unemployment all money received.
I told have money to pay back-still no job and my husband is retired.
Can the state of kansas take money out of our (joint)
IRA`s and 401k.
Our only income is my husband`s social security.
Can Kansas put a lien on our house or car?
