ISP or Internet Service Provider(s)
are allowed (by law)
to track those who are doing illegal activities on the internet.
These ISPs have Terms of Service (which most people do not read)
that states about Piracy.
most piraters don`t officially keep what is downloaded,
and a lot of the time if they would host a demo of the game,
people wouldn`t have to resort to piracy to see if the game is even worth buying.
I know from my own experience that if you purchase a PC game,
they are non-returnable due to piracy on the internet and the ease of able to copy a cd and by pass securom or whatever "protection" the CD/DVD uses.
But all in all,
it is stripping money from the developers of the game(s),
which in the long run can result in the company losing money period.
Therefore there will not be another game like it made into a sequel or creation of a new game.
