From what I understand, if your benefits do not expire on 11/31/10, unfortunately you do not continue to collect, even if it`s 26 weeks. If your in tier 1, 2, etc, under 99 weeks and your benefits expire on 11/30/10, I believe, not certain, you will continue to collect benefits. From what I understand, most states automatically enroll you, you continue calling in or via internet and hopefully you will continue to collect without interruption. This whole situation is gutrenching.

Someone said: This happened to me last year. I was told as long as I had been receiving benefits before the deadline they would continue...I was in a panic last year this time. I still am receiving benefits so you should if you are already in the system...Just my experience.

i`m in teir two 13 weeks of euc, it will end the third week of jan. 11. will my benefits end on nov. 30 or because i"m already in the teir will go to jan.11 and i wont get tier 3. thanks

The goverment should not/cannot abandon the Americans that are presently unemployed but who paid into the system what they were supposed to and when they were supposed to. The unemployed Americans should not be put out to pasture like a bunch of lambs....we are human beings with families and need to be treated with dignity and passion at a time when we need it most!!

Honestly, whichever deli meat and cheese food slicer that you buy, just make sure that you get at least a 10" blade and that the machine is either semi-automatic or fully automatic, as this will make your life much easier. You can find these slicers on Ebay for $250 or so. But before you make your purchase, be sure to source a servicer in your area with spare parts who can fix the machines. Call around and see which brands the repair men advise you to buy.

I dont know if every state is the same but in Ca the EDD website states that as long as begin one of the 4 tier of extended benefits before Nov 30th you will be able to collect all the weeks available for that tier. If you are collecting on the seperate FED-ED things are a little worse. Your benefits will be immediately stoped on Nov 30th but there is a chance for retroactive payments if the date is extended. I hope that helps. Im so sorry you`re unemployed. I know your pain.
