Can someone help me out with tax info? I`d like to know how much will I have to pay the IRS if I made 24, 000 as a contractor? Roughly about 2,500 as an employee; taxes were being deducted from the state and federal.

its depend on your area of living. if you live in California and making 35000 Canadian dollars per year and you paid 5000 medical expenses then according to Canadian rules you have to pay taxes, social security and everything will take about 30 percent of your taxable income, maybe a little less.

I`d say go to a reputable mortgage company or bank and talk with a loan officer. Tell them you want to know what you would qualify for. Do NOT let them talk you into some weird adjustable mortgage or interest only loan. Tell them you want a FIXED 15 or 30-year mortgage. Once they do the math, start saving up for a 20% down payment. You guys are making good money and have no debt so saving up should be easy for you. if you are making 30000 per year then it means you are making a gross of 2500 per month . this is a good income if you do not have any debt to your name. there are various places to invest like bank, stocks, mutual funds etc. every investment serves different purpose and give you a palette of options to invest. so please let me know where you are planning to invest, depending on which i can tell you the rate of interest that can be earned on your income. hope it helps and your answers are given. so please respond and help me with the ideas in you mind.
