Even if he had an iphone skin protector, who`s to say that the screen wouldn`t have still broken? I had the best case for an iphone, cool color and everything. But the way it fell on the cement, the glass cracked anyway. There`s no guarantees.

Most gold and platinum cards come with automatic buyer`s insurance, so call your customer support line and find out if you are still under warranty. The cost to fix a cracked iphone 3g or 3gs is currently cost prohibitive and it is almost advantageous to simply get a new phone and extend your current contract . Apple is charging $199 to fix the LCD touchscreen, when you can buy a new 3gs for $199 and a new 3g for $99! So, the cheapest option may be to just buy a new phone. The only alternative is to find a third party repair shop or search online for a do it yourself kit. But from what i`ve read, getting the glass off is very difficult and you could easily damage your phone even more. Also, the adhesive on the replacement part isn`t as good as the stock glue. So, if your phone is still under warranty, just get Apple to replace is for free at the store. They can do it in 10 minutes. If it`s not under warranty, look up the independent solution providers that can do the fix. You`ll have to mail them your phone if you don`t have a local replacement shop.

Q. Cancel iphone 3g contract & buy iphone 3gs...cost?
so i'm 17 and just came into $5,000. about a week ago i was at the beach and dropped my iphone 3g and the screen cracked bad, it still works, but i want it fixed. from what i've figured it'll be around $400 to cancel my 3g contract and buy the 3gs. is this right? i'm also planning on getting an otterbox case.

Q. How much is a good price for a jailbroken 16gb iphone 3g with a cracked screen?
i have seen varied ebay prices. works fine, not unlocked, but jailbroken. i need to get a new one, but it'll cost 500, and apple won't repair it because it would cost more than 300 dollars to do so. i want the 3gs,but can only afford the 300. i need to offset costs by selling this one. any info would be great! thanks

Okay first dont get that excited because the internet is the WORST (no offense) because the company of the iphone (Apple) wont allow adobe flash player on it so then like 3/4 of the internet is like useless. Also its very slow for the internet. But the apps are great. Also get the 3G not the 3GS because if you want to jailbreak it, it will only work on the 3G now because they made a new hardware for the 3GS that makes it in which you wont be able to jailbreak it. If you dont know what im talking about search on google, what does it mean to jailbreak an iphone. Also to prevent your iphone from breaking you need a cover that surrounds the whole Iphone and you need a plastic touch screen cover. Referb means that it was broken but they went and replaced the parts that were broken (dont worry theres like always a guarantee). And new is that its never been used or broken. Only get a 16 GB memory if your gonna download lots of apps and music and take alot of pics and videos. Hope this helped cause it took me a long time to write this and my hand is killing me lol.
