How can I be informed and given names of people `sneakin` on my f/b page without my knowledge. Only friends are on there but need to know as I believe there are some looking just to see what I am doing and saying without my knowledge or permission.

Problem is that I am not sure who is looking, but would not be for good reason.

I know what you mean, I know people who have over 700 friends! How would you ever know them or have the time to leave comments on all their walls? If there is someone you`d like to know better, start leaving friendly comments on their walls. Check out their photographs and make comments. Post photographs of things that might interest them on their page. If you catch them online say hello and start an IM conversation. It`s all a matter of regular contact.

I dont understand why the friends are showing up in the first place, i allways beleve my friends was total private for me.. After this i dont use MSN anymore. And the private settings are complicated and if you sett the button to "only me" pepole can not add you and they are blocked form the beggining if they add you.

"Friends who you publicly interact with the most appear first on your profile. Examples of public interactions include Wall posts, comments and mutually attended events — Facebook will never show friends based on whose profiles you choose to view or who you interact with over messages and chat." Do a search on fb help page and you will find this there, the links don't work here oddly.

I have come to suspect that the reason the same people keep coming up in your friends box is not because they check your page but rather they are on facebook most often. Somehow, the people that are on facebook most often usually pop up on the friends box.

 Someone said: Hm i disagree, because looking at the order of other peoples friends list, (which i may have over 200 mutual friends with) their friends are shown in the list, which are most likely to be the ones who would view their profile more often

It means that these are your bestest friends in the whole wide world and facebook knows it! But seriously, it means nothing.

It`s not totally random as generally its the same people, i too have noticed this for the new facebook profile.

Options - Privacy - Advanced - Profile and Search - Basic Info - Move slider of Friends list to Just me.

 Someone said: Yes even if you have set the privacy settings to 'just me'  There will still be a link, 'See suggestions' which shows the list of your friends.  How to disable this link?

Go to your privacy settings and look for a feature that allows you not to display your friend list.

But I modify it little. as ..Open >> privacy settings >> 2. (at the bottom) advanced privacy settings..>>. 3. click on 'Basic information'... and 'friends' is 3rd option. >> 4. drag slider for 'friend' to 'just me'. >> 5. voila....
