Actually it depends on what kind of mutual funds you`re going to invest in.
Here in the Philippines,
we have fixed income fund,
and money market fund.
you choose to invest in a fixed income fund;
you should know the annual interest of the said fund by a certain asset management company that you will invest in.
Lets say it is 10% per annum and the interest you get is compounded you will be getting around 119,076.32 for ten years time.
This is only an example of what you will get if the company that you will invest in provides and generates a much higher interest.
