What is the lowest interest rate credit card on the market with travel rewards and no annual fee?

I`m looking for a top rated credit card that has no fees and a very fair and reasonable interest rate. Also, a rewards program (travel, gifts) is important, as is great customer service. And a 0% balance transfer would be ideal! Thanks!

"And provided your credit rating hasn`t changed your annual interest..."

The best credit card for you depends a lot on your credit history. If you have an excellent credit rating, for example, right now (2010) one of the best deals is the Capital One Smartline Platinum Mastercard. This card has an extremely low 5.99% interest rate that is guaranteed for three years. After the third year, and provided your credit rating hasn`t changed your annual interest rate is based Prime plus 3.75%. Also, this card has no annual fee and no balance transfer fees. And even though this card doesn`t automatically come with a rewards program, you can add this feature for $99. The other things I really like about this card are that you automatically get an extended warranty on purchases you make with it and it even covers you for rental car collision insurance. Not sure if this card is available in both Canada and the USA, but I know for sure it`s being offered in the Canadian market at present. So, look into it.

"This is the best credit card for shopping...."

Get the Canadian Tire Mastercard! Canadian Tire has like 4 amazing credit cards. Some give you cash back, gas rewards, they have a bunch of great deals. If you`re from Canada, this is the best credit card for shopping.

"I am a student with good credit and i just got my first credit card..."

I am a student with good credit and I just got my first credit card. As a teenager, I wanted a card with travel air miles and one that gave me student discounts on everything from retail shopping to eating at restaurants. So, I went to my bank (Bank of Montreal) and they told me about the BMO SPC Air Miles Mastercard. That`s the one I`m using now and I make sure to pay the full amount every month so that I don`t have to pay the high interest. It`s good, just be careful with plastic, remember it is still money, don`t go overboard!

"For students and other people new to credit at pretty reasonable at 14.99% too...."

Capital one Canada mastercards are the best Canadian credit cards you can get, in my opinion. They have a Platinum card that only charges 5.99% interest right now, which is awesome. Their other low rate credit cards for students and other people new to credit at pretty reasonable at 14.99% too.

"Forget about the lowest interest credit card on the market..."

forget about the lowest interest credit card on the market, just throw away all your credit cards, they are evil and garbage! you will inevitably run up more and more debt and soon be underwater. if you don`t have the cash to buy it, you can`t afford it. period. end of sentence.
