4G is not available in Los Angeles yet Sprint and Clearwire have announced that they will be bringing 4G (wimax)
to the Los Angeles market before the end of 2010 most likely in the summer.
the first 4G equipped phone in the world,
the HTC evo 4G is being released on June 4th I am sure there will be an announcement about when the new 4G networks will go live in the new markets
also I am not sure where it will be available but I am waiting for their anouncement soon

and click on the bottom of the page where it says "See 4G cities" it will give you a list of cities 4G is in and a list of cities that are "coming soon"
